Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our client team located in Abbotsford, BC. This role will focus primarily on clinical work while developing their skills in surgical and dental procedures. The successful candidate will combine medical knowledge, teamwork, and emotional intelligence to deliver excellent patient care and client service. This is a full-time permanent opportunity available immediately.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in delivering excellent patient care while contributing positively to the team environment.
• Provide wellness exams, client education, dentistry, rehabilitation, in-house grooming, and a variety of surgical procedures.
• Perform in-house diagnostics and support emergency cases.
• Work as the sole veterinarian in the clinic, managing your own caseload independently.
• Perform soft tissue surgery including routine procedures such as spays, neuters, and mass removals.
• Conduct dental procedures, including scaling, polishing, and extractions.
• Manage and stabilize urgent and emergency cases as they arise.
• Contribute to treatment planning, medical decision-making, and continuity of care.
• Offer rehabilitation services and support general patient recovery plans.
