We are currently seeking an experienced
Senior Control Systems Engineer
to join the
Operations Expansion & Start-Up Department (OES)
within a leading LNG and Oil & Gas organization in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
â
Provide advanced control systems engineering support ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
â
Support and guide engineers in complex technical analyses, troubleshooting, and multidisciplinary engineering activities.
â
Manage and administer control systems including:
DCS
SIS
PLC
User Access Control
OEM Service Contracts
Technical Advisories
Cybersecurity and Reliability Improvement Initiatives
â
Lead and coordinate Management of Change (MOC), feasibility studies, and engineering projects.
â
Participate in:
HAZOP Studies
SIL Assessments
Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Reliability & Integrity Programs
â
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide technical guidance on critical control system issues and deviations.
â
Support Operations Readiness Plan (ORP) activities ensuring successful project handover and start-up.
Requirements:
â Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
â Minimum
6+ years of experience
in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
â Hands-on experience with:
Foxboro
Emerson
Honeywell
Triconex
CCC Systems
PLC Platforms
AMS
APC
PI Systems
â Strong knowledge of:
IEC Standards
ANSI/ISA Standards
API Recommended Practices
â Excellent communication skills in English.
â Proficiency in engineering software and digital tools.
