Technical Lifting Lead

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lifting Lead to provide technical leadership, guidance, and assurance for lifting operations across major onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects. Minimum requirements Provide expert guidance and technical support to project teams and site lifting specialists on lifting operations, safety protocols, and industry best practices. Maintain and manage effective lifting assurance and compliance processes across multiple projects. Review and recommend improvements to lifting procedures, plans, standards, and best practices. Ensure lifting activities comply with applicable company requirements, international standards, and relevant government regulations. Conduct risk-based evaluations of complex lifting and technical issues and support timely resolution. Provide technical support in the selection and qualification of lifting contractors and subcontractors. Promote a strong lifting safety culture and implement industry-leading safety initiatives and best practices. Participate in high-potential lifting incident investigations, identify root causes, recommend corrective actions, and ensure mitigation actions are effectively closed out. Work closely with project teams, contractors, third parties, and certification authorities to resolve lifting-related issues. Support effective coordination and collaboration across multiple concurrent onshore and offshore projects. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science. Minimum 8 years of experience in large Oil & Gas projects within construction-related disciplines such as construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, or similar areas. At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role , including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Strong experience in lifting operations within major onshore and/or offshore projects . Knowledge of international standards such as API, ASME, BS, DNV, ISO, and LOLER . Strong knowledge of lifting and rigging calculations, including experience in accordance with DNV standards . Experience in establishing and managing lifting compliance and assurance processes. Experience in regulatory compliance and lifting safety best practices. Required Skills Strong leadership and safety leadership capabilities.
