Whp Jacket Qc Welding Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced WHP Jacket QC Welding Supervisor to support a major offshore oil & gas development. The successful candidate will oversee welding quality control activities throughout the fabrication and construction phase, ensuring contractor compliance with approved specifications, Quality Control Plans, international standards, and applicable company requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform and witness welding inspections in accordance with approved ITP / Quality Control Plans. Ensure compliance with technical requirements covering welding, materials, dimensional control, and testing. Review contractor inspections related to welding and material traceability. Witness WPS/PQR qualifications, welder qualification tests, and production tests. Monitor welding consumables and contractor welding activities. Follow up welding, NDE, inspection records, and NCR resolution. Ensure applicable international codes and standards are correctly implemented. Coordinate closely with QC, contractor, and project teams. Requirements HND/BTS or equivalent in an engineering discipline. Minimum 10 years' professional experience. Minimum 5 years' relevant project experience. Strong experience involving wellhead platforms, topsides, structures, piping, and pressure vessels. Previous construction/fabrication yard experience. Strong knowledge of welding, materials, and NDE. Knowledge of AWS, ISO, API, ASTM, and ASME standards. AWS CWI / CSWIP Grade 3.2 / EWI-IWIP-C or equivalent. Strong leadership and communication skills. Fluent English. H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training. The role will initially be based at an EPC contractor fabrication facility in China, with potential future assignments in Qatar and other international locations.
