Lead Telecom Engineer

Telecommunications Lead – Major FPSO Project This is a long-term residential assignment , initially based in Paris , with subsequent project phases potentially in Singapore and South Korea . Multi-Year opportunity. We are currently recruiting an experienced Telecommunications Lead / Lead Telecom Engineer to support the engineering and delivery of a major international ultra-deepwater FPSO development. The successful candidate will lead the telecom discipline during detailed engineering and procurement, overseeing EPC contractor and vendor activities and ensuring telecom systems meet project, safety, operability and international engineering requirements. Key requirements include: 10+ years' Oil & Gas telecommunications engineering experience Strong FPSO telecom design experience Detailed engineering / EPC project background Telecom architecture and multidisciplinary interface experience Vendor package review, FAT and technical bid evaluation experience Previous commissioning / pre-commissioning exposure advantageous Fluent English; French advantageous People are our business worldwide Orion Group was founded in 1987 and is now one of the largest, independent, international recruitment companies.
