Senior Accounting

Airswift is searching for an Accounting Senior to join a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector in Venezuela. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and corporate reporting support. Key Responsibilities • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and adjustments • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis • Support corporate reporting and financial consolidation requirements • Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances • Analyze OPEX, CAPEX, fixed assets, and Joint Venture accounting activities • Support audits, internal controls, and process improvements • Collaborate with Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Finance teams Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting • 5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience • Strong knowledge of IFRS, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial close processes • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills • Fluent Spanish required • Advanced English proficiency is highly desirable • Oil & Gas industry experience and Joint Venture exposure are highly preferred
