Job Duties Job Overview Halliburton Landmark is seeking a customer-focused Solutions Geoscientist I to join our Europe (ESSA) team. This role combines geoscience expertise with customer engagement activities to help operators maximize value from Landmark's subsurface technology portfolio. The Solutions Geoscientist works closely with Account Teams, Product Management, R&D, Consulting, and Customer Success organizations to address customer challenges, recommend technical solutions, and support software adoption. Although based in Budapest, Hungary , this position supports customers across the Europe (ESSA) region . The role requires regular travel to customer locations, workshops, technical meetings, and industry events throughout Europe. Key Responsibilities Technical Consulting & Solution Development Apply geoscience expertise to understand customer workflows and identify improvement opportunities. Map customer requirements to Landmark's geoscience technology portfolio. Deliver technical presentations, software demonstrations, and Proof-of-Value projects. Provide workflow recommendations across exploration and subsurface disciplines. Support evaluations, pilot projects, and technical assessments. Customer Engagement & Business Development Collaborate with sales teams to develop technical proposals and support business opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with geoscientists, technical leaders, and decision makers within customer organizations. Understand customer challenges and align Halliburton solutions to their business and technical objectives. Act as a liaison between customers and internal organizations, including R&D, Product Management, and Consulting. Gather customer feedback and communicate market requirements to internal stakeholders. Industry Engagement Represent Halliburton Landmark at industry conferences, workshops, and customer events. Contribute to technical presentations, case studies, and knowledge-sharing activities. Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Geosciences, Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline. 5-10 years of Oil & Gas industry experience with a focus on subsurface workflows. Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Geology Geophysics Petrophysics Earth Modeling Reservoir Characterization Seismic Interpretation Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills. Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Willingness to travel extensively across Europe. Preferred Master's degree in Geosciences, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or related field. Experience with Halliburton Landmark software solutions. Previous experience in technical sales, consulting, business development, or customer-facing technical roles. Experience working with multidisciplinary interpretation teams. Preferred Software Experience Experience with one or more of the following platforms is considered an advantage: DecisionSpace Geosciences (DSG) Petrel Kingdom PaleoScan Geoteric Earth Modeling and Reservoir Characterization platforms Seismic Interpretation software solutions Additional Requirements Ability to travel frequently within Europe (ESSA region). Valid passport and eligibility for international travel. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
