Repair and Maintenance Specialist III - Logging While Drilling Services(LWD)

Job Overview As LWD R&M Specialist III has responsibility for assisting with the development of reliability-based maintenance strategy, based on preventive and predictive maintenance for the product line equipment. Work directly with the Maintenance Manager to build a reliable system and maintenance team. Works with Repair and Maintenance Technicians to schedule workload. Primarily activity is at workshop, troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, implementing mandatory modifications and executing and/or planning preventive and corrective maintenance of field equipment and tools, helping to mitigate assets related non-productive time and improve overall field service delivery performance. He/she may be required to attend a client location to perform his/her duties whenever an R&M task is deemed necessary to carry over a field operation. Responsibilities: Perform advanced repairs and maintenance on LWD tools and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics on LWD equipment, utilizing both manual and computerized methods. Collaborate with field personnel to provide on-site technical support and training as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures. Support the design and improvement of LWD equipment and tools by providing feedback and insights based on field experiences. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team. Mentor and train junior technicians and other team members. Participate in project planning and execution, providing input on equipment selection and maintenance strategies. Stay updated on technological advancements in LWD systems and industry best practices. Skills: Works well within a team environment. Proven ability to function well under pressure. Intermediate/Advanced Excel & Word skills Eagerness to learn and challenge existing processes. Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation Qualifications: High Diploma with relevant experience 5-7 Years of related experience on Repairing and Troubleshooting LWD Sensors and DS Tools
