Condition Monitoring Technician

NES Fircroft are partnered with a leading underground mining and processing operation in search of Condition Monitoring Technicians , where you'll play a critical role in improving equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime. Working across a large-scale processing plant and mobile mining assets, you'll use advanced condition monitoring techniques to identify potential failures before they impact production. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include vibration analysis, oil sampling, thermography, and ultrasonic inspections across a range of critical equipment, including crushers, mills, pumps, conveyors, and underground machinery. About You Mechanical Fitter trade qualification or equivalent Experience within mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial maintenance environments Proven capability in vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography Strong understanding of rotating equipment and predictive maintenance strategies The ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively in a site-based environment Experience within metalliferous mining operations Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS platforms Exposure to grinding, flotation, or mineral processing plant equipment What's on Offer Initial 6-month fixed-term contract with the view to go permanent 8/6 roster with FIFO options from Brisbane, Townsville or Carins; DIDO also available Camp accommodation and meals provided while on site Opportunity to work within a major mining and processing operation with a strong focus on reliability and asset performance Supportive team environment with exposure to a broad range of critical mining assets Ready for your next challenge?
