Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician I Location: Garland, TX Duration: October 5, 2026 – April 2, 2027 Position Overview Field Service Technicians to support its Verified Delivery (EVD) program. This field-based role involves traveling to customer sites to install and activate safety locks on bulk chemical storage tanks while following company safety and installation procedures. Key Responsibilities Report to the assigned Ecolab location daily to collect equipment and assignments. Travel to multiple customer sites using an Ecolab-provided vehicle. Install and activate mechanical or Bluetooth EVD locks on chemical storage tanks. Remove and install valve handles or approved lockout devices as needed. Attach identification tags and document installation results. Follow all safety procedures and installation SOPs. Escalate installation, access, or safety issues when required. Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times. Required Qualifications Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer service skills. Mechanical aptitude and experience using basic hand tools. Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines. Basic digital skills, including mobile applications and spreadsheets. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally on a daily basis. Preferred Qualifications Field service, installation, maintenance, or industrial experience. Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments. Physical Requirements Frequent driving with occasional overnight travel. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
