Pennsylvania, United States of America Job Family Group: Production and Manufacturing Downstream Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: September 17, 2026 Business Unit: Downstream and Renewables Experience Level: Experienced Professionals Job Description: What’s the role As an Instrumentation and Electrical Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following in accordance with relevant codes. Accountabilities: Troubleshooting DCS (Digital Control System) control interfaces; level, flow, and pressure measurement equipment; vibration measurement instrumentation; low, medium, and high voltage equipment; and power generation and distribution equipment Read and understand piping/instrument and electrical drawings of instrumentation, control, power, and metering circuitry Remove, repair, maintain, and test emergency shutdown valves and control valves Understanding of proper application of pressure-rated piping/tubing fittings associated with various equipment (manual sample stations, control valves, instrumentation, etc.) Diagnose and apply results using various test equipment Apply Electrical Safety Rules in accordance with site and OSHA standards Record work history and submit feedback for continuous improvement of maintenance plans, policies, and procedures Troubleshoot and repair instrument or electrical systems Perform routine installation and calibration of instrument or electrical systems Ability to perform reactive or preventative maintenance of instrument or electrical systems and components Work Schedule 9/80 base work schedule with varied schedules depending on worksite demand Certain plant conditions will require night shift, weekends, and holidays (turnarounds, outages, major plant activities, production support, etc.) What We Need From You Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship or a work visa. Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently and understand operating procedures Must possess and maintain a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States Willing to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation Willing to work in compact and confined spaces with or without accommodation Willing to climb ladders, walk up and down steps, and work at heights with or without accommodation Must be willing to work in an environment that requires the daily use of computers (i.e., iOS, MS Suite, SAP) Must be willing to be trained and maintain certification to operate motorized lifting equipment such as man-lifts, cranes, trucks, forklifts, etc. to support craft activities. Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining lifting and hoisting certifications as applicable to the instrumentation and electrical craft.
