Solids Controls Tech

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Solids Hand for an upcoming project in Carrizo Springs, TX . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining solids control equipment, with specific experience working with Vertical Cutting Dryers (VCDs) . This is a field-based role supporting drilling operations and ensuring efficient solids control performance on location. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain solids control equipment during drilling operations. Operate and troubleshoot Vertical Cutting Dryers (VCDs) . Ensure proper separation and processing of drilling fluids and cuttings. Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment. Monitor equipment performance and report operational issues promptly. Follow all company and client HSE policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area on location. Complete required operational reports and documentation. Work closely with drilling crews and other field personnel to support efficient operations. Requirements Previous experience as a Solids Hand on drilling or completion operations. Required: Experience operating Vertical Cutting Dryers (VCDs) . Strong understanding of solids control equipment and processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment. Commitment to safety and compliance with all HSE standards. Ability to work rotational schedules and extended hours as required. Reliable transportation to and from the job site. Preferred Qualifications Experience in South Texas drilling operations. Solids control certifications or related industry training. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.
