Shift Lab Analyst

Our Qatar client is looking for a Shift Laboratory Analyst who will be responsible for maintaining the lab equipment, tracking and documenting samples and adhering to SOP's. You will be performing various chemical analyses and providing accurate, timely reports to support plant operations and quality control. This role involves maintaining laboratory equipment , tracking and documenting samples, and adhering to standard operating procedures. The Shift Analyst ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental protocols while coordinating laboratory operations during shifts. Accurate chemical and gas analyses and timely reports that lead to appropriate corrective actionsand operational quality standards Provide regular, routine, and specialist chemical analysis reports based on scientific techniques of the samples, ensuring reports lead to appropriate quality assurance and corrective actions Regular reporting to ensure concerned personnel are well-informed about the plants status and performance from a quality assurance and control perspective Maintain all lab equipment and utilities, ensuring they are in fit-for purpose condition and maximising its availability Conduct shipment - companys related products analysis of shore Tank, wall wash, first foot and after loading sample Advise chemists on the replenishment of stocks to ensure continuous laboratory operations Successful management of laboratory operations during evening and morning shifts, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient testing activities and shipment coordaintion Requirements Bachelor of Science, major in Chemistry Minimum 6 years of experience in laboratory environment in an oil and gas petrochemical laboratory preferably at the plant Work Location is Mesaieed If you are a qualified Lab Analyst, please send your cv to [email protected] With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
