Rotating Equipment Technician

Our chemical client in Qatar is looking to hire Rotating Equipment Technician to work in the Maintenance department. You will be responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities working closely with the maintenance team members and contractors to minimize downtime and ensure reliability of the plant rotating equipment and systems. The job holder is required to accurately document activities performed as well as equipment status and support inventory of materials. Work location is Mesaieed Responsibilities - Perform corrective maintenance on rotating equipment and systems within the plant, ie. diagnose and repair any malfunctions using appropriate tools and techniques to minimize downtime - Execute preventive maintenance and change requests on rotating equipment and systems, regular inspections, cleaning, and servicing to prevent potential failures ensuring equipment’s availability and reliability - Utilise SAP maintenance system, including navigation, functionalities, and modules relevant to maintenance activities - Collaborate with the Materials division to ensure the availability of inventory materials to uphold the operational reliability of rotating equipment - Document maintenance activities performed and equipment condition, capturing all the findings and comprehensive history of the plant’s rotating equipment health and maintenance history Qualifications - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance at an oil and gas or petrochemical company Interested candidates, please send your cv to [email protected] With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
