, Kazakhstan Job Family Group: Business Administration Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: September 21, 2026 Business Unit: Upstream Experience Level: Experienced Professionals Job Description: This role is intended to provide support to EC-2 Senior Vice President and his/her direct reports at EC-3 level only to reduce administrative stress by providing solid and efficient administrative support thereby improving their ability to meet organizational goals. The Assistant will communicate with others outside and inside the organization, will manage busy schedules, and will complete complex administrative tasks. Assistant is experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks. This person must be exceedingly well organised, highly flexible and know how to deal with challenges. Discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes to be successful at this role. • Organize Events and Meetings, including logistics for attendees. • Arrange internal and external meetings, workshops & events including video conferencing. • Prepare agenda, presentation materials for meetings. • Maintain distribution lists and organization charts. • Handle administrative arrangements for visitors (temp door access etc). • Provide workspace for employees and support with IT requests. • Handle correspondence and documents (including electronic archiving of documents). • Assist in the travel arrangements for including flights, visas and hotel reservations. The position of Assistant is assigned to a person who can report of the following: Experience incorporating the following transferable skills: Prioritization, organized and self-starter, willingness to learn, strong interpersonal and communication skills, sociable and approachable. Fluency in written and spoken English. Enthusiastic, highly motivated, with good prioritization and time management. Fully competent in Word / Excel / PowerPoint, Outlook email and calendar, Internet. Suitable administrative experience in a corporate environment Knowledge of the Shell systems and processes e.g. Shell People, travel, finance, HR, etc. Ability to handle confidential information / correspondence. Ability to work as part of a team and by oneself. Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels. Ownership; end to end accountability for resolution.
