Job Group Capability Engineering Job Group Mechanical Integrity & Heat Transfer Job Role Description Marine engineer focusing on Deepwater oil and gas production related marine systems with an emphasis on supporting flawless cargo operations, hull and topside marine structures and equipment,and all mooring related systems.  Supports maintenance of regulatory requirements, inspections, marine-related management of change and performance evaluations, reviews inspection data, and assists in the preparation of technical reports and engineering documentation. Supports monitoring of environmental conditions and vessel motions to help ensure safe and efficient offshore operations. Integral role to maintaining marine integrity and operational excellence. Base: Lagos, Nigeria with travel to offshore facilities Job Role Responsibilities What will you do? •Provide technical engineering support and troubleshooting for offshore FPSO operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient asset performance. •Monitor the integrity of FPSO, marine safety systems, marine structures, and offloading terminal through inspection, assessment, and performance evaluation. •Plan, oversee, and support inspection, condition monitoring and assessment, repair design, and execution activities for hull, mooring, and marine terminal systems. •Review and assure the quality of engineering deliverables, including design calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications, investigation findings meet Company and Regulatory expectations. •Coordinate technical interfaces between offshore operations, contractors, vendors, and company engineering teams to resolve issues. •Support the design, assessment, and performance monitoring of all mooring, positioning, offloading, crude handling and marine loading systems •Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, hazard identification studies, and implementation of mitigation measures to ensure compliance •Contribute to capital projects, brownfield modifications, facility upgrades, and life-extension programs, ensuring alignment with requirements. •Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating and implementing innovative technologies, digital monitoring systems, predictive maintenance tools, and automation solutions for marine assets. •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and implement cost-effective engineering solutions that enhance asset integrity, operational reliability, inspection efficiency, and overall FPSO performance throughout the asset lifecycle •Act as key point of contact with regulatory societies and organizations to ensure compliance and lead activities to meet requirements. Manages risk-based work selection processes for Marine Systems providing support to execution teams as necessary Skills & Qualifications University Bachelor of Science / Engineering Degree NYSC Completion Certificate Minimum of Bachelor of Science / Engineering in any of the following degrees: Marine, Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, Petroleum Knowledge of:  FPSOs, offshore loading systems, mooring systems, marine terminals and floating offshore structures and applicable Classification Society rules and regulations Experience • Minimum of 10 years relevant oil & gas industry experience • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience on FPSOs, FSOs, offshore terminals, floating production assets • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs. • Behavioural expectations: Strong Team Player, Good Communication skills (written and verbal), Good Coordination and Collaboration skills, Good Technical, Problem solving, Analytical skills, Shows Initia
