Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician Location: On-site, Roxana, IL | 900 S Central Ave, Roxana, IL 62084 Position Summary: Seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support industrial water treatment systems at a customer site. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a safety-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and service work at the customer site. Test industrial water systems, including pH, conductivity, hardness, and alkalinity . Troubleshoot pumps, chemical feed systems, boilers, and cooling towers . Calibrate and troubleshoot probes, analyzers, and field instrumentation . Handle and monitor chemical dosing systems safely. Maintain accurate service reports and records of technical issues and parts used. Respond to occasional emergency service calls, including nights, weekends, or holidays. Build strong relationships with customer personnel and provide professional on-site support. Requirements: 2–4 years of relevant industrial/field service experience . High school diploma or GED required. Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and basic instrumentation troubleshooting skills. Experience with industrial water chemistry and water treatment equipment preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Roxana, IL .
