Facilities Engineer / Specialist II

Job Title: Facilities Engineer / Specialist II Duration: 1 year with possible extensions Schedule: 40 hours per week Location: Spring, TX This opportunity offers plant and facilities engineering support within an operational environment, focused on pressure equipment, piping, static and rotating equipment, tanks, and plant modifications. The role supports safe, compliant, and effective engineering execution while working closely with operations and engineering teams across a specific plant area. This position will contribute to surveillance activities, KPI monitoring, shutdown support, and the review of engineering work against company standards and regulatory requirements. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience Required Experience: Experience supporting operations engineering activities within a plant or facilities environment Experience working with pressure equipment, piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, tanks, and plant modifications Experience providing engineering support for repairs, alterations, and shutdown activities Experience reviewing discipline engineering work to ensure alignment with company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements Required Skills: Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria Ability to act as an area engineer supporting a specific operating unit or plant area Capability to evaluate engineering work performed internally and by contractors or subcontractors Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills Fluent English, written and spoken, particularly for technical and business communication About Airswift: Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
