Senior Quantity Surveyor 📍 West Midlands | Permanent | Full-Time 💰 Competitive Salary DOE + Benefits Join a Growing Commercial Consultancy Within a Leading UK Group Our client, a well-established and expanding consultancy operating within a major UK infrastructure and environmental services group, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their West Midlands team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional looking to take ownership of projects, influence key commercial decisions, and contribute to the continued growth of a highly respected business. Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering commercial and contractual expertise throughout the project lifecycle while supporting junior team members and engaging directly with clients. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for both pre and post-contract quantity surveying activities, ensuring commercial success and effective contract management across multiple projects. Key responsibilities will include: Managing all aspects of pre and post-contract quantity surveying Supporting tendering, procurement, and contractor selection processes Producing valuations, cost reports, tender analysis, and commercial recommendations Managing applications for payment, cash flow, change control, and final accounts Providing contractual advice to clients and project teams Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and notifications Supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and cost value reconciliation Building and maintaining strong client relationships Mentoring and supporting junior team members Contributing to business development and commercial growth initiatives About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A minimum of 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline accredited by RICS (or equivalent) Professional membership, or working towards membership, with RICS, CIOB, or CIArb Strong knowledge of commercial management, contract administration, and procurement processes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills The ability to work independently whilst supporting wider project teams A full UK driving licence What's on Offer?
