Lead Scheduler

Job Title: Lead Scheduler Duration: 12 months renewable contract Schedule: 28/28 Rotation Location: Soyo, Angola This opportunity offers the chance to support integrated planning and scheduling across routine maintenance, turnarounds, major maintenance, and capital projects within a technically demanding industrial environment. The role focuses on developing executable schedules, monitoring critical path performance, and improving work management processes through Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and SAP PM. This position will contribute directly to safe, efficient execution by aligning maintenance, engineering, procurement, construction, and contractor activities. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline A technical diploma with extensive relevant experience may be considered Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of planning and scheduling experience in the oil and gas, LNG, petrochemical, or heavy industrial sector Proven experience supporting routine maintenance, turnarounds, major maintenance, and capital projects Advanced experience with integrated schedule development in complex multidisciplinary environments Strong experience in critical path analysis, resource planning, progress reporting, and schedule recovery Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support safe and efficient work execution Required Skills: Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and SAP PM or equivalent CMMS Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling for routine maintenance, turnarounds, major maintenance, and capital projects Strong understanding of maintenance work management processes, including planning, scheduling, execution, backlog management, and work order close-out Knowledge of critical path methodology, resource planning, schedule risk analysis, and progress reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other reporting and data analysis tools English language skills at pre-advanced level, written and spoken Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and data-driven decision-making Ability to communicate schedule status, constraints, risks, and mitigation actions clearly to stakeholders About Airswift: Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
