Join our Team and advance your career as a Supply Accounting Analyst (fixed term until 2027 June) In this role You will: Reconcile reported physical airport stock with the stock recorded in accounting systems on a monthly basis. Prepare allocation reports and thoroughly investigate any differences identified during reconciliation. Verify all stock movements by ensuring that Opening Balance + In – Out = Closing Balance. Accurately record gains, losses, write-offs, accruals, and other required adjustments resulting from the reconciliation. To carry out the month and close processes in a timely and accurate manner for business and process with a relatively high degree of complexity Resolution of issues and queries may require reference to Group Reporting Manuals and / or working closely with the Business / Country teams supported Controlling the completeness and integrity of hydrocarbon accounting processes Support preparation of documents and adjustments for monthly, quarterly and year-end close Monitoring of open items and timely resolution of discrepancies Facilitate the integration of new scenarios into the SAP system Query handling and monitoring Run & verify the month end stock accounting processes, ensuring all movements correctly priced & accounted for and all adjustments made Support the analysis financial results of product cost, storage and handling activities What You need to be successful: Relevant degree in finance or experience in related supply accounting field Good knowledge in accounting area Fluency in English Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness SAP MM knowledge is desirable Good level of administrative skills At bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you: Different bonus opportunities based on performance, wide range of cafeteria elements Life & health insurance, medical care package Hybrid working arrangement aligned with team arrangements and business needs Opportunity to build up long term career path and develop your skills with wide range of learning options Celebrate in bp’s success.
