Logistics Methods Engineer 📍 Location: Baku, Azerbaijan 📌 Local Candidates Only Our client is seeking a Logistics Methods Engineer to join their Field Operations team in Baku. This role will support logistics strategy, process optimization, contract management, and operational efficiency across offshore oil & gas activities. The successful candidate will work closely with logistics, drilling, operations, and project teams to ensure safe, cost-effective, and efficient logistics support. Key Responsibilitie Develop, implement, and maintain logistics and supply chain procedures. Monitor logistics performance and KPIs to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities. Conduct logistics reviews, operational studies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare operational reports, logistics plans, budgets, and cost estimates. Support logistics resource planning, including marine vessels, helicopters, logistics bases, and freight forwarding. Manage logistics-related contracts, including Scope of Work preparation, technical evaluations, and contract performance monitoring. Coordinate tendering activities with Contracts & Procurement teams. Promote digitalization initiatives, data analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools. Ensure compliance with HSE, company policies, and industry standards. Requirements Master's Degree in Engineering. 2-3 years of engineering experience. Oil & Gas industry experience is advantageous. Knowledge of Lean methodologies is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Experience with reporting systems and digital planning tools. Strong IT skills are desirable. Understanding of drilling operations is an advantage. Fluent Azerbaijani and English. What's on Offer Opportunity to work on a major offshore energy project.
