About Olathe Located in Johnson County Kansas the Olathe Grease Plant manufactures and packages finished greases and oils used in automotive, commercial and industrial applications. What role you will play on our team Position: Greasemaker located at a lubricants batch blending and packaging facility. Adhere to all ExxonMobil safety, security, health, controls, and environmental policies and procedures Understand and follow work instructions and batch sheets regarding all company procedures and work instructions Safely operate manufacturing equipment and processes while following all company procedures and work instructions. Produce quality products by monitoring, controlling, and documenting production activities and process data. Handle raw materials and finished products through material movement, storage, inventory management, and forklift operation. Use plant systems and computers to complete work orders, inventory transactions, labeling, and required training. Support overall plant operations by maintaining housekeeping standards and assisting with assigned operational needs. What you will do Adhere to all ExxonMobil safety, security, health, controls, and environmental policies and procedures Understand and follow work instructions and batch sheets regarding all manufacturing, kettle blending and related processes Demonstrate the ability to safely and efficiently work in all production areas on the manufacturing floor Recording of processing information (material quantities, dates, times, pressures, temperatures, etc.) as required Operation of manufacturing vessels, heating & cooling controls, operation of pumps, operation of milling equipment, adjustment of valves or other functions required to transfer product from manufacturing vessels to storage tanks, direct packaging, etc. Basic math skills, to include the ability to calculate percentages Powered lift operations (forklift, drum grabber, various dumping equipment) Raw material stowage and basic warehouse management skills Basic use of computers to complete work orders, utilize the plant inventory system, complete online training courses, print labels, and other duties.Labor work as assigned by management Read and understand packaging work tickets and work instructions. Perform any labor work as prescribed by management. Most commonly this will be housekeeping on the manufacturing floor. About you Skills and Qualifications This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires pre-employment testing. Minimum High School Graduate or Equivalent Preferred Qualifications/ Experience Safety and environmentally conscious Adherence to safety and quality policies Ability to work alone and take initiative.
