Abingdon, Oxfordshire Description & Scope:
Develop a next-generation surrogate modelling framework capable of rapidly predicting:
Pressure evolution Temperature evolution Stress and deformation Mineral dissolution and precipitation Porosity and permeability changes Injectivity and productivity impacts for CCS and geothermal reservoirs without requiring repeated full THMC simulations.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Understand the Existing Workflow and improve when needed (include geochemistry, improve speed of training, etc.)
Build initial ML models (CNN, FNO, GNN, etc.)
Evaluate accuracy and inference speed Connect with other software platforms Benchmark report App for building surrogate models Qualifications:
Studying or completed ​​Bachelors​ in ​Data Science, Computer science​  or a related discipline Familiarity with deep learning methods and coding (not necessarily the ones mentioned above)​ SLB is an equal employment opportunity employer.
