Technical Project Manager - Electrical Switchgear Location:
Remote (UK) with Nationwide Travel when required Contract:

Competitive Day Rate We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a background in Electrical Switchgear to support the delivery of projects across the UK.
This is a Technical delivery role, not a commercial PM position. You'll act as the key interface between customers, engineering teams, factories and subcontractors, providing technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle from design through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage RAMS, safety plans and project documentation.
Provide technical guidance on switchgear systems, electrical schematics and testing procedures.
Coordinate and submit design drawings, FAT reports, SAT documentation and project schedules.
Lead technical discussions with customers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
Attend project meetings and customer sites during planning, installation and commissioning phases.
Manage technical risks and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
Requirements Proven experience managing electrical switchgear or power distribution projects.
Strong understanding of switchgear systems.
Experience with FAT, SAT, installation and commissioning activities.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
Electrical engineering background or strong technical project delivery experience.
Willingness to travel across the UK.
