Monday-Friday, 2:00-10:00 PM Orion Project Services and a market leading pharmaceutical company are teaming up on a new contract opportunity for entry level laboratory professionals.
Job Description The Lab Tech I coordinates sample receipt and testing, enters data into computer applications, and performs routine analytical testing to support quality control of pharmaceutical products. This entry-level role requires good laboratory skills and some data interpretation. Pharmaceutical or biotechnology quality control experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications Basic laboratory instrumentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry, or an associate’s degree.
Strong attention to detail.
0-3+ years of laboratory experience.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Good computer and communication skills.
Experience in a GMP laboratory setting.
Preferred Experience Experience operating analytical equipment such as analytical balances, total carbon analyzers, spectrophotometers, and pH meters.
Pharmaceutical or biotechnology quality control testing experience.
