Immediate Job Summary The CoilTOOLS Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, preparation, redress, and readiness of fishing and milling tools used in coiled tubing operations. The role supports workshop activities, asset management, inventory control, and operational requirements to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards and available for field deployment.
Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, inspection, repair, and redress of fishing and milling tools.
Prepare and test downhole tool assemblies and BHA components for field operations.
Support fishing, milling, and intervention operations with technical expertise and equipment readiness.
Manage workshop activities, tool tracking, asset management, and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with company quality, maintenance, and HSE procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, service documentation, and inventory reports.
Troubleshoot tool failures and recommend corrective actions to improve tool reliability.
Requirements Minimum 5 years of CoilTOOLS experience.
Strong background in fishing and milling tools maintenance, preparation, and redress.
Experience in workshop operations, asset management, and inventory control.
Hands-on experience with hydraulic/mechanical jars, accelerators, junk baskets, overshots, mills, motors, and BHA components.
Experience supporting fishing and milling operations is essential.
Offshore oil & gas experience preferred.
Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Good knowledge of coiled tubing and downhole intervention tools.
Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
Strong focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Ability to work independently and support field operations in a fast-paced environment.
