Telecom Senior Engineer

Telecom - Senior Engineer Contract period: 02.11.2026 - 01.11.2028 Location: Stavanger Main tasks:
Detailed design of telecom tasks.
Participate in studies.
Estimate telecom tasks.
Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
Perform as-built.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
Strong experience in engineering design.
Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, requirements, client systems and methodes.
Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations.
Strong knowledge of telecommunication system, network infrastructure and fiber-optic technologies used in the oil industry.
Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written Required Certificates:
EX – Basic EX Training (6–8 hours online or 22.5 hours classroom-based)
