Construction Lead Lq

We are seeking an experienced Construction Lead (LQ Other Structural) to oversee coating and insulation activities associated with major offshore topsides fabrication works.

The successful candidate will ensure safe and efficient construction execution, technical compliance, quality assurance, schedule adherence, and effective coordination between engineering, fabrication contractors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee coating and insulation works during onshore fabrication of offshore topsides structures.

• Ensure construction activities meet HSE, quality, technical, and project schedule requirements.

• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications, contractual requirements, and international standards.

• Review engineering deliverables for constructability and technical compliance.

• Monitor fabrication progress, identify execution risks, and recommend corrective actions.

• Review construction documentation, deviations, inspection records, and completion dossiers.

• Coordinate with engineering, construction, quality, and contractor teams to resolve technical issues.

• Participate in risk assessments, technical meetings, pre-job meetings, and lessons-learned activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering. Additional relevant experience may substitute for technical education.

• Minimum 8 years of construction-related experience on major Oil & Gas projects.

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience, including coating and insulation expertise.

• Strong knowledge of offshore topsides fabrication, coating and insulation, and construction execution.

• Familiarity with fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing, and project completions.

• Knowledge of international construction codes, technical specifications, and HSE standards.

• Experience in offshore facilities, onshore fabrication yards, or major construction projects.

• Understanding of LNG facilities, sour gas operations, and associated construction risks.
