- Develops and maintains project schedules ensuring they reflect the approved project design / execution scope.
- Reviews Contractor project control procedures to ensure requirements are met.
- Reviews and checks Contractor progress reports for accuracy of progress measurement.

- Monitors and appraises Contractor performance against control plans for progress and schedule control.
- Evaluates project changes for schedule impact and incorporates approved changes into the overall schedule.
- Advises on potential schedule issues, provides corrective actions, and verifies their implementation.
- Conducts periodic meetings with the Contractor to review progress and reports project status to management.
