Ras Laffan North Shift Supervisor II (National Graduate)

Job Purpose

• Develop technical and behavioural competence through professional courses, self-study, on job training and mentoring. Familiarize themselves with Qatargas operating policies, procedures and processes, the working environment, data sources and mode of operation. Deliver division activities by applying developed knowledge and skills. Regular interface with others and provide routine information and advice.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

• Develop technical competency through professional courses, self-study, on job training and mentoring.
• Develop a good knowledge of Qatargas operating policies, procedures and processes, the working environment, data sources and mode of operation.
• Learn to perform functional duties, gathering of data and assigned tasks under guidance and supervision of assigned mentor / coach.
• Perform division activities by applying developed knowledge and skills.
• Work with the mentor / coach to understand the development plan and associated training requirements.
• Attend recommended formal training and demonstrate benefits by applying knowledge in the workplace.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the concepts, specifications and standards of Qatargas by applying them in work completed and presentations to others.
• Demonstrate awareness and commitment to safety through personal actions.
• Regular interface and coordinate with relevant employees and provide routine information and advice.
• Produce periodic routine internal / external reports; assist in providing necessary analysis supporting details and in report preparation.

Qualifications

• Qatari National
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• GPA 2.5 and above
• No previous work experience

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

• Entry level position for a National graduate with no experience.

Technical and Business Skills - I

• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient keyboard and PC skills.
