Senior Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for offshore FPSO facilities from FEED through Detailed Engineering and EPC execution.
• Prepare, review, and approve key engineering deliverables including:
• Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
• Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Process Design Basis
• Equipment Specifications
• Operating Philosophy
• Control Narratives
• Process Datasheets
• Perform and validate:
• Heat and Material Balance calculations
• Equipment sizing calculations
• Hydraulic studies
• Relief and Flare System analysis
• Utility system design calculations
• Conduct process simulations using Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or equivalent software.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Process Engineers and Graduate Engineers.
• Support process safety studies including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, LOPA, and Risk Assessments.
• Interface with clients, licensors, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Evaluate vendor packages and technical bids.
• Manage technical queries and engineering deviations.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and client meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8-15 years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas, FPSO, Offshore Platforms, LNG, Refining, or Petrochemical projects.
• Proven experience executing FEED and Detailed Engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of offshore production facilities and topsides process systems.
• Extensive experience with:
• Aspen HYSYS / UniSim
• Equipment sizing and specification
• Process safety studies
• Flare and relief system design
• Offshore utilities systems
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
