M/LWD

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MWD/LWD equipment during offshore drilling operations.
• Acquire, process, and transmit real-time downhole drilling and formation evaluation data.
• Perform pre-job planning, tool preparation, calibration, testing, and post-job reporting.
• Monitor drilling parameters and tool performance to ensure data quality and operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot downhole and surface equipment issues.
• Support drilling optimization initiatives through accurate data acquisition and interpretation.
• Prepare daily operational reports and communicate key findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Halliburton operational procedures, client requirements, and HSE standards.
• Collaborate with Directional Drillers, Drilling Engineers, Geologists, and Rig Personnel to achieve campaign objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MWD and/or LWD operations within the oil and gas industry.
• Previous Halliburton experience is mandatory (Ex-Halliburton personnel preferred).
• Proven expertise in Advanced LWD Services, particularly:
• Resistivity Formation Services (RFS)
• Formation evaluation and petrophysical data acquisition
• Real-time downhole telemetry systems
• Advanced logging and drilling optimization technologies
• Strong offshore drilling operations experience.
• Experience in HPHT, deepwater, or complex well environments is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve operational issues in a fast-paced field environment.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work on rotational offshore assignments.

Mandatory Certifications

• Valid BOSIET certification.
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate.
• Valid H2S certification (preferred).
• Additional offshore survival and safety certifications are advantageous.
