Technical Assistant Job Location - Qatar Qualification

• Higher National Diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar technical or administrative support role.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to engineering and operations teams.
• Manage procurement activities through SAP, including purchase requisitions, service entry sheets, release orders, and contract-related documentation.
• Maintain technical documents, drawings, records, and filing systems.
• Monitor procurement, inventory, maintenance, and financial activities, providing regular status updates.
• Support project execution by coordinating resources, materials, services, and equipment.
• Prepare technical reports, documents, and drawings as required.
• Assist in cost control, cost allocation, cost recovery, and process improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with Finance and other departments regarding SAP transactions and payment processing.
• Create service entry sheets and support invoice/payment approvals for contracted services.
• Maintain proficiency in relevant software including SAP, MS Office, Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and related engineering systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and cost control processes.
• Experience with engineering document control and record management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
