Global in outlook, local in practice – and with a united, shared passion for discovering solutions, we hire talented, driven people and support them to succeed, personally and professionally Legal  Intern The Legal Intern will assist with legal research, contract review, regulatory monitoring, and compliance-related activities, contributing to the effective management of legal risks in Central Africa. Responsibilities: Conduct legal research on laws and regulations applicable in Central African jurisdictions (including OHADA framework where relevant) Support the team in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading contracts, agreements, and legal correspondence Assist in maintaining and updating contract databases and legal trackers Monitor and summarize regulatory developments, including areas such as corporate law, employment law, digital/technology laws (e.g. electronic signatures), and compliance requirements Provide support on compliance and ethics initiatives, including internal trainings and documentation Help prepare legal memoranda, presentations, and reports Assist in managing litigation Assist with corporate governance matters, including filings and record keeping Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel where required Support ongoing legal projects across the Central Africa region Experience & Exposures: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (fresh graduates encouraged to apply) Familiarity with basic legal principles, frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret legal documents, case law, and support compliance or advisory activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Exposure to legal research tools or document management systems is an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English Demonstrated adaptability, learning agility, and ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments.
