Job Duties Under general supervision, assists in analysis, modification and design of products and services for assigned projects which requires working knowledge of materials, components, and their applications. Prepares design calculations and specifications. Develops test procedures, conducts tests and completes test result analysis for assigned projects. Assists in handling field and manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services. Incorporates Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process. Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues Install, configure, and maintain manufacturing systems applications, operational technology (OT) networks, and IoT devices Monitor system performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of critical systems Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues in a timely manner Manage user accounts, access controls, and security configurations in line with company policies Perform regular system and application updates, patching, and data backups Support IT infrastructure across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments, with focus on manufacturing systems Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, incidents, and resolutions Collaborate with AI developers to build and enhance AI-based knowledge bases for automated troubleshooting and support Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for issue resolution and system improvements Assist in implementing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and best practices Qualifications Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering required. Minimum of 2 years of experience. A Masters degree in Engineering preferred. Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred. Skils Hands-on support experience for PCs, scanners, tablets, and peripherals Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows devices and hardware issues Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and connectivity troubleshooting Additional competencies: Experience with device deployment, replacement, imaging, and configuration Familiarity with OT environments and legacy systems Understanding of VLAN concepts, firewall rules, and network segmentation Knowledge of endpoint protection and OT security tools Ability to coordinate with global IT/network teams Strong documentation and operational discipline Good communication and stakeholder support skills Self-driven and capable of working independently at site level Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.  Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Technical Professional - Manufacturing and Senior Technical Professional - Manufacturing.
