Head of Planning Key Job Accountabilities Provide management and technical direction for planning/scheduling functions, including schedule risk, analysis, reporting, productivity, and impact assessment Manage the project planning/scheduling team and coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and interface teams Ensure effective execution of planning and scheduling processes by contractors and subcontractors Manage preparation of project control deliverables related to planning and scheduling in line with project management systems Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of planning/scheduling procedures Oversee collection, consolidation, analysis, and reporting of progress data, including schedule delay and recovery analysis Manage project changes and ensure schedule impacts are properly assessed and incorporated into overall reporting Evaluate contractor performance in planning/scheduling and ensure alignment with project requirements Act as the primary interface between management and contractors on planning/scheduling and reporting matters Mandatory Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Knowledge and/or Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in project control within EPC capital projects, primarily in planning and scheduling Strong knowledge of project controls principles, methodologies, and best practices Experience on major projects from owner and/or contractor perspectives Experience managing EPC lump sum contracts and working with multicultural teams and large subcontractors Interested candidates are encouraged to send their CV to [email protected] to apply or learn more.
