ExxonMobil in Malaysia
In Malaysia, we host a global business and technology center in Kuala Lumpur that provides high-level information technology and engineering expertise to ExxonMobil’s Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses worldwide. In the upstream, we have interests in two Production Sharing Contracts with PETRONAS, while in the Product Solutions business, we supply a portfolio of specialty chemical products to the marketplace.

What you will do
Health hazard identification, assessment and control. Provides technical / functional guidance to business partners
Health hazard identification communication and training
Conducting field inspections, including exposure monitoring and assessment as per Company requirements
Generate accurate reports based on exposure monitoring and assessment data
Maintain monitoring equipment as per Company requirements
Assist with the development, implementation and continuous improvement of global common systems as directed by the line manager
Participates in network meetings, teleconferences and activities
Participates in emerging issues analysis and resolution
Provides mentoring, facilitate training for local IH resources at assigned sites
Provides Health System support; serves as Health system Administrator, if required
Stewards progress of support and project plans; develop periodic highlights
Compiles and submits equipment/capital budget requests
About you
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or Science
(Preferred) Masters level University degree majoring in health and hygiene
Proactive and able to work independently
Prior experience in the profession of safety, health and environment will be an advantage but not necessary
Proficient in English a must and fluent in a third language will be a plus
Preference will be given to those with the following additional skills / abilities:
Candidate must be willing to travel offshore/overseas.
(Highly regarded) Familiar with Cority health management software
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Basic skills in PowerBI will be a plus
