Job Description – Offshore Instructor Job Purpose Execute and support inspection activities during EPC and start-up phases through to handover to permanent operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facilities through early defect detection in line with established policies, procedures, and targets. Qualifications Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or equivalent. Experience Minimum 4 years of in-service inspection experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries. Technical & Business Skills Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of relevant inspection software tools and technical specifications. Experience with Meridium or similar data management systems. Awareness of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies. Understanding of corrosion, corrosion control, and damage mechanisms. Basic knowledge of plant processes and materials used in industrial facilities. Familiarity with inspection techniques including: Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Penetrant Testing (PT) Radiographic Testing (RT) Advanced NDT methods Familiar with applicable international codes and standards. Certification in API 510 and/or API 570 is required; API 653 is an advantage.
