Mechanic Technician (Associate-II) - Maintenance (Alvarado, TX, US, 76009)

Job Duties This is an entry level position for maintenance personnel desiring a career path as a Mechanic Technician. Under direct supervision, performs routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a variety of Halliburton equipment, including heavy duty tractor trailers and light duty vehicles. Assists Mechanic Technicians in performing more complex repairs. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Qualifications Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum skills may be acquired through a qualified technical school certificate or equivalent related experience; Certificate in Diesel Technology with previous experience as a mechanic working with heavy duty equipment is preferred. Basic set of hand tools is required. Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
