What role you will play in our team The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading the facilities engineering team, performing activities such as goal setting, planning, cost and budgeting, relationship management, managing employee career development, and coaching & mentoring.  This role owns the functional delivery of the team's work scope, ensuring all aspects of their area are effectively managed in alignment with organizational goals.  The Supervisor ensures that engineering deliverables of the group meet business partner needs while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.  This position requires strong leadership, relevant technical experience, and the ability to balance operational execution with strategic alignment across projects and organizations. This role will be based in Williston, ND. What you will do Lead engineering team to deliver all safety, business controls, Operations Integrity and Standards of Business Conduct requirements. Administer HR policies and guidelines in accordance with management responsibilities. Responsible for ongoing implementation of asset vision and strategy ensuring efficient and timely delivery of work scope aligned with business objectives, driving improvement and fostering innovation. Evaluate multiple issues, data, processes, and situations to deliver results across a broad range of scenarios and stakeholders Take initiative to address challenges and improve results with reduced cost and / or improved efficiency / effectiveness Lead and manage multi-layered team using behaviors aligned with ExxonMobil’s Expectations of Leaders About you Skills and Qualifications Minimum of B.S. in either Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or related engineering field 10+ years of experience working in the oil and gas (O&G) industry Prior supervisory and/or managerial experience leading a technical team Working knowledge of Oil and Gas surface facilities Experience evaluating and managing operational risk Preferred Qualifications/ Experience Prior experience supporting Oil and Gas Upstream and Unconventional Assets Expertise in multiple facets of Upstream surface facilities, including safety systems, separation, control systems and reliability and integrity programs Relevant prior field experience (e.g., Operations, Maintenance, or Commissioning) and office-based experience (e.g., O&G facility design, remote Operations and Maintenance support, etc.) Your benefits An ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
