What role will you play in our team As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and evolving our network security infrastructure. You will combine operational excellence with engineering expertise to ensure a secure, resilient, and high-performing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for both day-to-day network operations and the design and optimization of security solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement modern security practices and automation capabilities while ensuring service continuity. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong expertise in network operations, security engineering, and firewall technologies, particularly in enterprise environments. What you will do Perform daily operational activities, including handling service requests and troubleshooting complex network issues Design, implement, and optimize corporate firewall architecture with a focus on security, scalability, and high availability Contribute to continuous improvement of network security infrastructure and processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in network security and DevOps automation Support deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of network security solutions Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within network operations About you: Skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in Network Operations and/or Network Engineering Strong technical foundation with ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies Proven experience in network security, including Cisco switching and routing Solid troubleshooting skills combined with strong operational and engineering capabilities Expertise in Fortinet firewall solutions, including design, deployment, and implementation Preferred: Hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer Advantageous: Experience with network automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Nautobot) DevOps mindset with focus on automation, scalability, and continuous improvement Your Benefits An ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
