Cost Controller Location: Paris, France Contract: 12 months (renewable) Rotation / Set up: Monday to Friday Expected starting date: Sep 2026 Join our dynamic team as a Cost Control Specialist in the exciting offshore oil and gas industry! This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial management of FPSO and BUOY projects while working in a vibrant location in La Défense, France. Role Overview Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgets. VOWD Analysis: Conduct Value of Work Done (VOWD) assessments to track project progress. MOC Coordination: Manage Management of Change (MOC) processes to mitigate financial risks. Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts for stakeholders. Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Budget Development: Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets. Risk Assessment: Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions. Skills & Qualifications Cost Control Expertise: Proven experience in cost control processes and methodologies. VOWD Knowledge: Familiarity with Value of Work Done calculations and reporting. MOC Understanding: Strong grasp of Management of Change principles. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in financial reporting. Education & Experience Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Certifications: Relevant certifications in cost control or project management are advantageous.
