Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Advisor to join ExxonMobil Buenos Aires. In this role, you will support payroll operations by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll services while collaborating with HR, Finance, Data Management, business stakeholders, and external payroll providers. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are interested in developing expertise in payroll, HR operations, data analytics, and employee services within a global organization. What You Will Do Administer payroll processes with accuracy and compliance. Process payroll-related employee transactions, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and adjustments. Validate payroll-impacting transactions and ensure payroll readiness. Analyze payroll data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies. Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and timely support. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Data Management teams, and payroll vendors. Maintain payroll records and HRIS data while ensuring confidentiality and data quality. Execute payroll controls and data validation activities. Support audits, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with payroll system enhancements, automation projects, and process standardization. Participate in root cause analysis and issue resolution to improve payroll service delivery. About You Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken). Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or related fields. Strong analytical mindset with experience using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. Knowledge of Payroll Administration, HR Operations, Employee Services, or Shared Services. Familiarity with HRIS and payroll platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar. Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and compliance awareness. Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset and passion for continuous improvement. Preferred Experience Internship or professional experience in Payroll, HR Operations, Employee Services, Finance, or Shared Services. Exposure to payroll processing, controls, reconciliations, or employee data management. Experience with reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools. Experience working in multinational, Shared Services, or Global Business Center environments. Understanding of payroll compliance, employee data privacy, and information security principles.
