Bangkok, Thailand Job Family Group: Technical Support Jobs Worker Type: Regular Posting Start Date: September 1, 2026 Business Unit: Downstream and Renewables Experience Level: Experienced Professionals Job Description: PURPOSE To safely operate, monitor and maintain boiler, hot oil and associated utility systems to ensure reliable steam and heat supply for plant operation, while complying with HSSE, Permit to Work, statutory, environmental, energy preservation and asset integrity requirements. The role also supports maintenance execution, TPM, Operator CARE, continuous improvement and people-centric team culture by connecting People -> Behavior -> Process -> Results. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Operate boiler, hot oil and associated utility systems safely and reliably in accordance with operating procedures, approved parameters and legal requirements. Perform boiler start-up, shutdown, normal operation, standby operation and emergency response in a controlled and disciplined manner. Monitor boiler pressure, temperature, water level, burner condition, fuel consumption, combustion condition, feed water quality, hot oil temperature and utility performance. Conduct routine field rounds, check sheets, log sheets, first-line inspection and abnormality reporting with accurate records. Perform first-line care such as housekeeping, basic cleaning, lubrication support, steam trap observation, leak identification, blowdown support and minor adjustment within authorization. Support PM & CM planning by providing equipment condition feedback, maintenance history, operating constraints and required shutdown windows. Support PTW execution as area owner / operator interface, including equipment isolation, de-isolation, handover, line walk, job readiness check and PTW electrical verification support where applicable. Comply with HSSE rules, process safety requirements, environmental control, Permit to Work system, Lock Out / Tag Out requirements and emergency response procedures. Support boiler and hot oil contract holder activities by coordinating service providers, checking job quality, confirming work completion and raising performance or safety concerns. Support energy preservation by monitoring energy consumption, steam loss, insulation condition, condensate return, combustion efficiency and opportunities for fuel / electricity saving. Support LGAME, Risk & Integrity and asset integrity activities by identifying risks, following inspection requirements and maintaining operating discipline. Support critical drawing and as-built control by reporting field changes related to boiler, hot oil, piping, electrical, instrument and pneumatic systems. Support TPM, Operator CARE and CI activities to improve equipment ownership, reliability, housekeeping, defect elimination and loss reduction. Participate in digital TPM, low-cost automation and plant improvement initiatives where relevant to boiler operation, utilities and maintenance performance. Coach and share practical operating knowledge with team members and contractors, supporting a people-centric culture, teamwork and behavior-based process discipline. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Technical certificate, diploma or bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial or related technical field is preferred. Practical experience in boiler, hot oil, utility operation, plant maintenance or production support is preferred. Knowledge of boiler safety, steam system, fuel / burner system, water treatment, PTW, LOTO, HSSE and environmental requirements is preferred. Able to read and understand operating parameters, basic engineering drawings, check sheets, maintenance records and safety documentation. Able to communicate clearly in daily operations, shift handover, contractor coordination and abnormality escalation.
