Safety Advisor

Working closely with the project management and site teams, you'll take a hands-on approach to health, safety and environmental management, ensuring safety systems are implemented effectively and high standards are maintained across site operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implement and maintain project HSE plans, procedures and safety management systems.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Monitor subcontractor safety, including SWMS, risk controls and safe work practices.
• Work closely with site management, supervisors and subcontractors to drive safety performance.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, pre-starts and safety briefings.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, codes of practice and project requirements.
• Maintain safety documentation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Promote a positive safety culture through regular site engagement and worker consultation.
