Service Well Testing - Data Acquisition (Al-Khobar, 04, SA, 31952)

Job Duties

Under general supervision:

• Performs all phases of the rigging up and down of service line equipment on work locations both on and offshore.
• Provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set up, well site direction, and customer related support activities.
• Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining, setting up, testing, and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp.
• Mentors and trains lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise.
• Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of the data at well.
• Consults with customers concerning services and products, promotes good customer relations at the well site, and ensures customer satisfaction with results.
• Checks and verifies equipment as per job plan, properly maintains equipment and completes all job documentation.
• Conducts pre- job toolbox safety meetings, reviews and verifies job plan with customer representative and manages any changes required.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.

Additional Role Responsibilities:

• Can lead defined field activities or a shift under the direction of a UBD Supervisor or UBD Well site service leader.
• Maintains accurate operational records and promptly reports deviations or equipment issues.
• Demonstrates readiness to progress into a full MPD/UBD supervisor role after further leadership exposure.

Qualifications

Skills are acquired through completion of a high school diploma and 6+ years experience in oil field drilling activities including 4+ years of underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling. Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Spec II-GBA.

Preferred Experience:

• Practical MPD/UBD field operations experience.
• Experience supporting or acting for a supervisor during routine operations.
• Competent in equipment rig-up, pressure testing, operation, inspection, basic maintenance, and rig-down.
