MPD\ UBD Engineer (Al-Khobar, 04, SA, 31952)

Job Duties

Under general supervision:

• Provides specific multi-PSL job design, well support, and post job analysis to customers in a designated area.
• Develops and maintains personal relationships with the technical customer base and provides highly technical expert support to the ATP and TP staff.
• May go on critical jobs where service quality or job complexity could be an issue.
• May maintain job schedules and liaise with customers on technical issues including performance review and process improvements to better support the needs of the customer.
• May work with the local Business Development personnel to insure customers are kept current on technology.
• May initiate, review, and close Correction, Prevention, Improvement (CPI)s pertaining to Technology.
• This position is a mentoring role over the Associate Technical Professionals (ATPs) in a service center.

Additional Role Responsibilities:

• Able to prepare and interpret engineering programs, calculations, operating envelopes, and contingency plans.
• Provides real-time technical support to the well-site team and customer.
• Capable of identifying operational risks and recommending technically sound corrective actions.

Qualifications

Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. Diversity Training Possession of a Professional Engineer license.

Preferred Experience:

• Experienced MPD Engineer with direct field exposure.
• Hands-on involvement in MPD/UBD job design, execution, monitoring, and post-job reporting.
• Experience with pressure-control principles, hydraulics, operating procedures, and technical troubleshooting.
