The Marine Field Engineer applies in-depth knowledge, experience, and best practices in Marine Operation for offshore installation. Developing execution methodologies, define engineering requirements, reviewing deliverables (drawings, reports), preparing installation procedures, identifying all resources and equipment required to be sent offshore and coordinating offshore work scopes. This role often requires willingness to travel to different job sites and work in various environmental conditions. Main Duties of the Jobholder 1.Be fully familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule, and all inter-discipline requirements; including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issues. 2.Prepare loadout list, material requisitions, identify installation aids and equipment required, manage load outs 3. Develop Installation Procedures and Storyboard 4. Overall coordination from offshore during installation. 5. Manage the interfaces between engineering and offshore crew, and subcontractors. 6. Supervise marine subcontractor’s operation and coordinate relevant issues. 7. Maintain close cooperation with other disciplines including Engineering, Planning, Fabrication, and Project Management Team, as required. 8. Assist in the preparation of estimates for bid proposals, review bidder’s technical offer and prepare technical query, execution statements, and manhour estimates 9. Attend project review meetings, vendor meetings, engineering meetings, and offshore site surveys, as required. 10. Participate in Internal, Customer, and third-party technical audits on vessels. 11. To define Engineering Requirements, to review Engineering Deliverables and to ensure required Requirements: - 3 years or above of work experience, in oil and gas industry specifically in offshore construction. Experience as Field Engineer for offshore project’s such as (topside, jacket, floatover, pipelay). - Engineering Degree in either, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Civil, or Naval Architecture. - English read, speak, write fluently. - Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken. - Familiar with ACAD, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project. Familiar with relevant industry standards (e.g., ABS, DNV, IEC), regulations, and codes - Maintain key competencies associated with the QHSES function
