Fabrication Yard Manager Liquiefaction

Place of Work:
Huangdao, Qingdao, China. Candidates should be willing to relocate locally for the duration of the project.
Lead day-to-day fabrication yard activities and coordinate engineering, construction, quality, HSE and commissioning disciplines.
Champion a strong safety culture through visible leadership, site presence, toolbox talks and HSSE inspections.
Oversee fabrication to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, contractual requirements, schedule and budget.
Monitor progress and project risks, working with contractors to develop and implement recovery plans where required.
Coordinate with the EPC contractor, fabrication yard and relevant project teams to support effective project delivery.
Ensure timely completion of inspections, witness points and hold points, and oversee contractor quality management and testing activities.
Oversee marine warranty survey requirements and compliance with marine cargo insurance obligations during fabrication and load-out.
Support pre-commissioning activities, including system cleaning, loop checking, degreasing and electrical energization, to minimize rework.
Drive fabrication readiness for sail-away with minimal carry-over work and zero defects.
Provide progress reports, escalate critical risks and constraints, and mentor and develop site personnel.
